Real-time data visualizations

Data is transmitted from the field to Ensemble’s cloud-based database, where it is displayed in an interactive format. In the cloud, field data is combined with crop water use and weather forecasts to power autonomous irrigation.

Water balance forecast and real-time irrigation prescriptions

We provide a daily report encompassing a water balance forecast, illustrating the expected soil moisture trajectory without irrigation. The example data is from a center-pivot irrigated field immediately following a substantial rainfall event on July 18. Forecasted crop water use—primarily evapotranspiration—depletes the soil's water reserves, with variations in depletion rates across the field. Based on the water balance forecast, irrigation intervention is anticipated by July 24. To ensure uniform crop growth, the irrigation prescription is continually updated to reflect real-time field conditions and any shifts in weather and evapotranspiration forecasts.
